Very Successful Start to Advisor Seminars in ACRES Breifne and ACRES Leinster
The ACRES Breifne and ACRES Leinster teams delivered very successful advisor seminars last week in Manorhamilton and Portlaoise. The seminars are a great opportunity to meet our farm advisory colleagues, to put faces to names and build relationships that will benefit the ACRES scheme, its participants, and other stakeholders.
Advisors were briefed on the local development of the scheme, progress on the screening of proposed NPIs and plans for future advisor engagement. The Project teams were very grateful for the feedback they received from these events and will incorporate it into their plans for the year ahead.
We were delighted with the large turnout at the first two events. These events are very important to us as they give us an insight into the practical challenges faced by advisors and their clients allowing us to plan for how best to address them. We have already determined that advisor seminars like these will be held on an annual basis in each of our CP team areas.
The Acres Munster/ South Connacht team will run a similar event in Limerick on Thursday February 8th.
