Placement is important, Swift boxes go outside buildings, don’t allow access for predators.
The CP Project team will advise on use of lures for Swifts.

Can I put a Swift box on a tree?
Swift boxes should be installed under roof eaves 5m above the ground.
Can I put Swift boxes beside each other?
Swifts are colonial nesters that like to nest close to each other. For this reason the NPI requires that 3 Swift boxes are located together on the same building.
Can I put Swift boxes inside a shed?
No, Swift boxes have be on the outside of buildings.
What space is needed between Swift boxes?
Swift boxes need to be 40cm apart.
