Employment Opportunities with ACRES Co-operation Project Teams
We have a requirement for an Environmental Data Management Officer to help us with image analysis, environmental modelling and the collation and interpretation of data. The ideal person for this position has an agriculture or ecology background with experience in data management.
The successful applicant will report to the Data and IT Services Manager in our Technical Support Unit. This team provides backup to the Project Officers on the ground, providing them with information on where opportunities exist on participating farms to increase farmers scores and payments. By helping to target training and landscape actions to where they can make a real difference this team help us to realise the local objectives of the ACRES Co-operation scheme.
This position is an opportunity for the right person to work as part of a progressive team seeking new ways to make a real difference to our environment and to farming in High Nature Value Areas.
