Advisor Training Events under a Scorching Sun
Advisor training is ongoing in ACRES Breifne, ACRES Leinster and ACRES Breifne Munster South Connacht. In soaring temperatures, advisors have been learning about the use of scorecards in advance of the habitat assessment season. Last week 45 advisors attended courses in Leitrim, Galway and Kerry. Next week additional courses will be held in Leitrim, Wicklow, Carlow, Tipperary and Galway.
Training for advisors is an essential part of the ACRES Scheme. Advisors have a very challenging summer ahead of them but the scheme really depends on them and support them anyway we can. We really appreciate the effort they are making. Getting stuck into training immediately after the completion of BISS applications was a big ask but advisors have responded with enthusiasm.
