Commonage Assessments Update
Commonage Assessments are complete in the Knockmealdown Mountains in Co. Waterford. Last week teams were out in all weathers, surveying commonages in the Cooley Peninsula in County Louth, the Blackstairs Mountains in Co.’s Carlow and Wexford, the Galtee Mountains in Co. Tipperary and the Dartry Mountains in Co.’s Sligo and Leitrim.
Walkover assessments and aerial surveys were carried out on approx. 6,000 ha.
