Farmer Open Days – Introducing ACRES Co-operation
Over the last week the Co-operation Project Teams in ACRES Breifne and ACRES Munster South Connacht have been busy running open days for farmers in their areas. These events give us an opportunity to introduce the team, give farmers a briefing on how the scheme will work and let them know what the next steps will be. Events have been held in
- Athea, Co. Limerick
- Derrybrien, Co. Galway
- Kinlough, Co. Leitrim
- Millstreet, Co. Cork
- Drumshanbo Co. Leitrim
These events will continue through the summer across the CP areas. The ACRES Leinster team will start their programme of events at 6pm tonight in Ballygoly in the Cooley Peninsula, Co. Louth. Other events on tonight include one hosted by the ACRES MSC team in Clonesker, Scarriff Co. Clare, also starting at 6 pm while the ACRES Breifne team are in action in Faughary, Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim also at 6pm.

- Ballynashee, Arigna on the Sligo-Leitrim border, July 4th at 7pm
- Lackanagoneeney, Doon, Co. Limerick, July 5th at 6pm
- Glenosheen Upper, Sunville Ballyhouras Co. Limerick, July 5th at 6pm
- Glencar, Co. Sligo also on July 5th, starting time for this one is at 7pm
- Barratitoppy, Co. Monaghan, July 6th at 7pm
- Clonoonagh, Co. Laois, July 6th at 6pm
- Moneygorm, Crow Hill, Co. Waterford at 6pm, July 6th
- Cloonlaheen East, Mullagh, Co. Clare at 6pm, July 6th
- Rathanna, Co. Carlow, July 7th at 6pm
