Study Trip for Agricultural Science Students to ACRES Farm
The staff from out office in Tralee took a group of third year Agricultural Science students from the Munster Technological University out to an ACRES CP farm last week. The farmer was participant in the Hen Harrier Program and has a wide range of valuable habitats on his farm. The students learned about how results based schemes work, about habitat assessments and the use of Scorecards.
Lively discussion on various actions or measures that could be used to improve scores in the future.
