Erect New Permanent Electric Fencing.
- You must use new fence posts.
- You cannot reuse old wire or posts or attach wire directly to trees.
- Minimum length of new fencing is 10m.
- You cannot use this action to enclose previously open areas.
- You must keep the fence at least 1.5m back from water courses.

- To reinforce existing boundaries only.

No, you have to install the type of fence that you applied for.
- Can I use two strands of electric wire?
The minimum requirement is for a single strand. You can use additional strands if you wish.
- Can I reuse old fence posts?
No, the fence posts and wire must be new.
